Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn’t work together. The Role: Square is building a best-in-class, high-impact field sales organization, and we are looking for an exceptional Territory Account Executive — someone who consistently exceeds expectations, takes full ownership of their territory, and brings Square’s mission of economic empowerment directly to the businesses that need it most. This is a field-driven, execution-focused role designed for individuals who thrive in dynamic, demanding environments. You will spend most of your week out in the market — meeting businesses, conducting live demos, and closing deals with confidence. The pace is fast, the expectations are high, and your ability to operate strategically and decisively will determine your success. You will serve as Square’s presence and competitive advantage in one of our highest-opportunity markets — responsible for building pipeline from the ground up, elevating Square’s visibility in your community, establishing high-value partnerships, and helping local businesses grow through our ecosystem of industry-leading software and hardware. If you are motivated by impactful work, driven to outperform, and eager to join a high-performance team with high standards, this role is built for you. **You will:** **Lead your market with disciplined, in-person execution** • Spend ~80% of your week in the field — walking your territory, engaging local businesses, and driving 50–60 targeted business visits each week. • Run a full-cycle, self-sourced sales motion: generate leads, identify needs, deliver compelling demos, and close deals across Square’s full product suite. **Establish yourself as the go-to Square expert in your city** • Build strong, trust-based relationships with local sellers by being present, reliable, and value-driven. • Partner cross-functionally to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and fast time-to-value for new sellers. • Implement a disciplined referral strategy to turn every new customer into future opportunities. **Build a high-velocity pipeline from the ground up** • Develop a repeatable top-of-funnel engine through door-to-door outreach, community engagement, events, networking, and targeted partnerships. • Work with channel partners to generate a consistent, high-quality referral stream that grows over time. **Master your verticals and sell with precision** • Build deep expertise in key verticals — including restaurants, retail, and services — to diagnose challenges and position the right Square solutions. • Sell consultatively and competitively, staying proactive and strategic throughout the sales cycle. **Achieve exceptional results in a high-accountability environment** • Maintain strong operational rigor in Salesforce: track activity, manage pipeline, and forecast accurately. • Measure performance frequently and improve continuously. • Consistently exceed quota within a culture where high standards are the norm. You have: • 3+ years of sales experience in a full cycle closing role with field sales experience • Experience exceeding sales targets, selling a diverse ecosystem of products, and closing complex deals • Ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Business development experience (e.g. hunting and cold calling) • Since this is a field position, you must have reliable transportation and live in the market you are serving • A collaborative and team player mentality • Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent • Even better: • 2+ years of payment processing OR related technology (i.e. payroll, loyalty, time management) • 1+ years of relevant audience experience (experience working in/selling to restaurants, retailers or services based businesses) Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Across Square and Cash App, Block processed nearly $260 billion in payment volume in 2025, and we run our own direct connections to card networks in several countries alongside our acquiring partners. When a customer taps their card at a register, our systems route the authorization and bring back the issuer's answer in under a second, around the clock, in partnership with card networks and bank partners. As a Staff Software Engineer on the Acquiring team, you will bring deep card payments experience to some of the most complex technical work on our roadmap. That work includes expanding our direct network and acquirer connections, delivering network mandates, and making it cheaper and more reliable to accept cards. You will lead one or two of these projects at a time. If you have worked deep in the card payment stack, at a payments company, a card network, or a large merchant, and want to own hard problems at Block's scale, this role is built for you. This is a hands-on role. You will build systems and tooling, debug at the message level, and turn your payments expertise into durable capabilities that other engineers can use. Much of the team built its payments depth here at Block. You will bring a view of how other companies solve the same problems, and learn our systems from a team that knows them deeply. In your first year, you will ship at least one of those projects to production, leave behind standards and tooling that make the next one easier, and share what you learned elsewhere so the whole team goes deeper. You will report to the engineering manager for Acquiring. This role works US West Coast hours, from our Bay Area or Seattle offices or remotely within the Pacific time zone. The team is mostly in US Eastern and Australian time zones, and Pacific hours overlap with US Eastern in the morning and with Melbourne in the late afternoon. **You Will** • Bring deep card acceptance expertise to the team, reading network specifications, ISO 8583 messages, mandates, and interchange rules, and turning them into sound engineering decisions. • Own the technical direction of your projects from design through production rollout, and lead the engineers working on them. • Partner with our technical leads, product and finance operations partners, and stakeholders across Square, Cash App, and Afterpay to shape solutions where card-network requirements intersect with Block's acquiring platform. • Stay deeply hands-on: write production code, build testing and certification tooling, analyze network messages, review designs and code, and debug issues down to the protocol and field level. • Make and defend the technical calls on routing, retries, and processing cost, backed by data on authorization rates and fees. • Establish shared frameworks, standards, tooling, and practices that make payments expertise durable so the team makes good payments decisions without routing every question through you. • Raise the technical capability of engineers around you through design guidance, code reviews, mentorship, documentation, and clear technical judgment. Help grow the next staff engineers on the team. • Build with AI agents across the engineering lifecycle, and help set the patterns for using them safely on systems that move money. • Share operational ownership of critical financial systems through on-call, incident response, and continuous improvements to reliability and correctness **You Have** • Deep card payments experience at the message level: you have built or run the integrations that talk to networks, acquirers, or processors (ISO 8583 or an acquirer's host format), not only called a payment provider's API. Acquiring or merchant-side experience is ideal, and a direct network connection is a strong plus. ISO 20022 is a plus. • Experience with the hard cases in real card transactions, such as partial and incremental authorizations, reversals, tips, currency conversion, and interchange qualification. • Strong hands-on software engineering experience building and operating highly reliable financial or payments systems at scale, with solid habits in design review, automated testing, and safe, observable rollouts. • A track record of leading technically complex projects from design through delivery and setting technical direction for the engineers working on them. • Experience creating durable technical leverage — frameworks, standards, tooling, architecture, or practices that other engineers and teams adopt. • Broad understanding of how a card payment moves end to end, with depth in areas such as card data security and tokenization, routing, authorization, capture, clearing and settlement, reconciliation, interchange and processing costs, or chargebacks. • Solid understanding of card network rules (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and US debit networks), and of how acquirers, processors, payment facilitators, and sponsor banks fit between sellers and the networks. • Daily experience building with AI coding agents, and good judgment about when their output is right. • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for critical financial systems. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth, enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete at a larger scale. Today, we are a partner to sellers of all sizes – large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex operations, sellers just starting, as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. You’ll own initiatives from audience insight and strategic planning through development, launch, experimentation, and optimization across paid and unpaid experiences. This senior individual contributor role combines marketing, creative strategy, content development, and experimentation. You’ll translate business priorities, audience insights, product messaging, and performance data into programs that drive consideration, acquisition, and conversion. Your scope will connect mid- and lower-funnel creative with corresponding landing pages and content experiences. Our creative model is increasingly self-serve and AI-enabled. You’ll identify what we should build and test, develop messaging and creative hypotheses, and choose the right approach to delivery—creating directly with self-serve tools or leading creative and technical partners. Your work may include ads, SEO-informed website content, educational resources, and interactive tools such as calculators that help sellers evaluate Square and take action. You’ll co-develop the broader DG creative and content tactical plan with the Creative & Optimization Strategy Lead and cross-functional partners, then take independent ownership of agreed portfolios and initiatives. You’ll become a subject matter expert on your audiences and acquisition journey, working across channels and influencing partners without relying on formal reporting authority. **You Will** • Own creative and content strategy for an assigned growth portfolio, connecting business objectives, audience needs, product value propositions, and channel behavior across mid- and lower-funnel experiences. Lead initiatives from strategy through delivery and optimization. • Build audience-specific and audience-agnostic messaging frameworks and hierarchies that establish what we need to communicate and how it should flex across paid and unpaid channels, funnel stages, formats, and corresponding landing pages. • Identify unmet audience needs and opportunities for creative, content, and experience experimentation. Use performance data, customer research, channel trends, and business priorities to develop hypotheses and make a clear recommendation on what to build or test next. • Co-develop quarterly tactical plans with the Creative & Optimization Strategy Lead and channel partners. Own the testing roadmap for your portfolio, defining hypotheses, isolated variables, success measures, resource needs, and tradeoffs. • Lead net-new creative and content development from insight and concept through launch. Write strategic briefs, develop messaging and content, provide actionable feedback, and coordinate creative, agency, and technical partners. Use self-serve tools to produce and iterate directly when appropriate. • Own performance reviews for your initiatives with channel and analytics partners. Use quantitative and qualitative evidence to understand what performed and why, distinguish creative signals from media delivery and audience effects, and recommend the next action. • Synthesize learnings across experiments and channels, identifying patterns beyond individual test results and using them to inform future messaging, creative, audience, and channel strategies. • Scale winning messages and concepts across paid social, display, native, online video, streaming/CTV, mobile, digital out-of-home, direct mail, and emerging channels. Extend relevant learnings into unpaid content, website experiences, and other seller touchpoints. • Identify, prioritize, and execute landing page experiments to improve conversion, translating audience insights and creative learnings into tests of messaging, content, and page experiences. Make updates directly through self-serve tools or work with cross-functional partners to launch tests, evaluate results, and iterate. • Develop and improve self-serve, AI-enabled frameworks, templates, tools, and workflows that increase creative and content quality, testing speed, and scale. Apply AI across research, ideation, briefing, development, experimentation, and analysis, evaluating output for accuracy, brand alignment, and usefulness. • Connect creative and content decisions to business outcomes. Prioritize opportunities and resources based on likely impact, effort, and evidence, and communicate recommendations, progress, and results clearly to stakeholders and leadership. • Bring structure to ambiguous, complex initiatives: define the problem, develop a point of view, align stakeholders, resolve dependencies, and drive delivery independently. Build trusted partnerships across channel marketing, creative, agencies, analytics, CRO, Web, SEO, and other teams. **You Have** • 6+ years of relevant experience across creative strategy, performance marketing, growth marketing, integrated marketing, content strategy, advertising, or a related discipline, with demonstrated ownership of complex programs and measurable business outcomes. • A marketer’s mindset with strong creative judgment and business acumen. You can develop strategy across distinct audiences and acquisition journeys, connect mid- and lower-funnel experiences, and turn business needs into effective creative and content. • Advanced fluency with AI-powered tools and workflows, with a demonstrated ability to use AI as an integral part of creative strategy. You regularly apply AI across research, ideation, briefing, creative development, analysis, and optimization; build repeatable workflows that improve speed, quality, and scale; and bring a critical, experimental mindset to emerging tools and capabilities. • Strong analytical and experimentation skills, with experience forming hypotheses, designing or evaluating creative tests, interpreting performance data, and translating results into clear recommendations for what to test next. • Experience developing messaging strategies, value propositions, creative territories, or messaging hierarchies and translating them across audiences, funnel stages, channels, and formats. • Experience independently leading complex creative or content initiatives from audience insight and strategic planning through launch and iteration, including writing clear briefs, developing messaging, and guiding creative and production partners. • A strong understanding of performance marketing and the relationship between creative, media, content, and the post-click experience. You can identify how messaging and experience changes may improve conversion and partner with specialists to test them. • The ability to synthesize learnings across multiple experiments and channels, identify meaningful patterns, and develop a clear point of view on where the greatest opportunities lie. • Strong cross-functional influence, prioritization, and communication skills. You can navigate ambiguity, align stakeholders without formal authority, make sound tradeoffs, and drive work to completion with limited direction. **Preferred Experience** • Experience in an agency environment, particularly working across strategy, media, creative, and campaign execution. • Experience developing unpaid content, SEO-informed website experiences, educational resources, or interactive decision tools such as calculators, in partnership with content, SEO, Web, or technical teams. • Experience building creative testing programs or experimentation frameworks at scale. • Experience with conversion rate optimization, landing page experimentation, or other forms of digital experience optimization. • Experience developing self-serve creative systems, templates, playbooks, or AI-enabled workflows. • Experience marketing products to small businesses, merchants, or B2B audiences. The Role Cash App reaches 59 million monthly active customers, and top-of-funnel growth is accelerating. We're looking for a Growth Manager to be the GM for activation and habituation. You'll own the goals for how customers find their first meaningful moment in Cash App and turn it into a lasting habit, and you'll decide how to hit them. This role blurs growth and product. You won't hand requirements off to someone else. On this team, you are the product owner for your growth levers. You'll set the strategy, own the roadmap and experiment backlog, and work directly with Engineering, ML, Design, and Analytics to ship. Every lever is on the table: onboarding flows, in-app surfaces and prompts, eligibility logic, incentive mechanics, notifications, and customer communications across push, email, SMS, and in-app. You'll pick the lever most likely to move the metric, run the experiment, and scale what works. You'll sit on the Cash App Engagement Marketing team, which gives you deep customer context, lifecycle craft, and a strong peer group. But this isn't a traditional marketing role. You'll be just as comfortable shipping a product change as you are writing and launching a message or building the model behind an upsell engine. People who thrive here have come from growth product, growth marketing, lifecycle, business operations, and consumer analytics. What they share is a drive to own outcomes, an experimentation reflex, and the ability to move between strategy and the details. **What's Unique About This Role** • Scale. With 59M monthly actives and rapid top-of-funnel growth, your experiments read in days, not months, and your wins move numbers that matter. • Real ownership. You own the goal and the levers. Your roadmap shapes what Cash App builds, not just what it sends. • Every lever is fair game. Product changes, in-app experiences, incentives, and comms are all yours to test and combine. • The AI frontier. You'll help define what growth looks like as decisioning becomes increasingly AI-driven. Every experiment you run feeds, and is shaped by, the AI and automation stack we're building. **You Will** • Own activation and habituation goals end-to-end as the GM for your area. Define the opportunity landscape, set strategy, decide where to invest, and deliver measurable impact on activation and retention. • Own the roadmap and experiment backlog for your area. Score every idea against expected impact and effort, whether it's a product change, an in-app surface, an incentive, or a message. • Run rapid experiments across a wide range of levers, including onboarding, post-onboarding upsell, contact opt-in, behavioral notifications, real-time intervention, mobile wallet adoption, referrals, churn prevention, and winback. • Ship directly with Engineering, ML, and Design. That covers product changes like onboarding flows, in-app prompts, eligibility logic, and incentive mechanics, as well as the customer communications that support them. • Diagnose your own funnel. Size opportunities, find friction, read experiment results, and iterate without waiting on an analyst. • Push the frontier on AI decisioning and automation, and help define how growth work evolves as AI moves further into the decisioning layer. • Bring what you learn back to the Engagement Marketing team so wins scale across Cash App's broader lifecycle programs. • Influence strategy across Product, Analytics, Martech, Creative, and Brand as a true peer of these teams. **You Have** • 5+ years of experience in growth product, growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM, growth strategy, business operations, or a consumer-facing analytical role in a B2C tech environment • A track record of owning a growth goal end-to-end, from opportunity through measurable impact, including real ownership of what got built and shipped • Experience shaping the product experience itself and working directly with engineers to ship it • Comfort moving between strategy and hands-on execution. You're as willing to write and launch a message as you are to define a product change or build the model behind it. • Strong data instincts. You can size an opportunity, build an impact model, and diagnose a funnel from first principles, and you're comfortable pulling and interpreting data yourself, whether through SQL, AI tools, or other means. Experience with data modeling or opportunity sizing frameworks required • Deep experimentation experience. You know how to build a backlog, design rigorous tests, and use results to drive compounding improvements • Hands-on experience with a CRM or marketing automation platform (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), or strong reason to believe you'd ramp on one quickly • Fluency with AI tools as a core part of how you work, with the ability to automate, accelerate, and scale output in ways that set a new standard for the team • Clear, structured, takeaway-first communication. You can turn complex analysis and ambiguous situations into crisp strategy and actionable recommendations **Nice to Have** • Experience as a growth PM or in another role where you owned a product roadmap • Experience with onboarding, activation, or referral programs specifically • Familiarity with regulated or trust-sensitive products (e.g., fintech, financial services, or healthcare) • Experience with incentive mechanics or in-app personalization **Technologies We Use and Teach** • Braze, Iterable, or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms • SQL and AI-assisted analysis for self-serve opportunity sizing • AI tools (Claude Code, Goose, or others) for strategy, execution, and automation **EEOC ** We’re working to build a more inclusive economy where our customers have equal access to opportunity, and we strive to live by these same values in building our workplace. It all started with an idea at Block in 2013. Initially built to take the pain out of peer-to-peer payments, Cash App has gone from a simple product with a single purpose to a dynamic ecosystem, developing unique financial products, including Afterpay/Clearpay, to provide a better way to send, spend, invest, borrow and save to our 50+ million monthly active customers. We want to redefine the world’s relationship with money to make it more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible. Today, Cash App has thousands of employees working globally across office and remote locations, with a culture geared toward innovation, collaboration and impact. We’ve been a distributed team since day one, and many of our roles can be done remotely from the countries where Cash App operates. No matter the location, we tailor our experience to ensure our employees are creative, productive, and happy. **The Role** The IT Vendor Operations team sits at the intersection of business and technology — triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues across the tools and systems that thousands of Block advocates rely on every day. As Business Systems Analyst you will be the first line of defense when something breaks, the investigator when something behaves unexpectedly, and the bridge between our business teams and engineering partners. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves solving technical puzzles, and wants cross-functional exposure across Block's support organization. You'll work across Salesforce (CF1), Amazon Connect, Okta, internal tooling, and more — ensuring advocates can focus on helping customers instead of fighting their tools. **You Will** • Support identity and access management administration for an entire suite of applications, balancing routine operational tasks (~40%) with complex, non-routine requests requiring investigation and specialized attention (~60%) • Triage and resolve technical support tickets spanning Salesforce, Amazon Connect, Toolbox, Regulator, Registry, internal tax tools, and other internal & external systems • Troubleshoot bugs, system errors, and unexpected behaviors reported by internal team members and escalate to engineering when needed • Process and validate access requests for various systems and roles • Perform system validation to ensure tools work as intended for support teams and customers • Manage technical escalations through Jira, coordinating with engineering and product teams to drive resolution • Support SEV management as a liaison between support teams and engineers during critical system incidents • Automate and improve operational workflows to reduce manual effort and improve response times • Document troubleshooting steps, known issues, and resolution paths to build a shared knowledge base • Partner cross-functionally with teams across Block to identify recurring pain points and advocate for systemic fixes **You Have** • Experience in IT support, business systems, or technical operations — ideally in a support or customer care environment • Familiarity with Salesforce administration or configuration (flows, queues, skills, user management) • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills — you can break down a vague bug report into a clear, reproducible issue • Effective and clear communication (written and verbal) — you'll be translating between technical and non-technical audiences daily • Comfort working in Jira or similar ticketing systems for tracking and managing work • Ability to read and interpret code, logs, and system configurations • Methodical, highly organized, and detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy • A bias toward action — you'd rather dig in and figure it out than wait for someone else to • Experience with Amazon Connect, telephony systems, or contact center platforms is a plus • Familiarity with Okta, IAM, or access management workflows is a plus • Scripting or automation experience (Python, JavaScript, or similar) is a plus **Technologies We Use and Teach** • Salesforce (CF1) • Amazon Connect • Jira • Okta • GitHub • Google Workspace • AI-assisted development tools We're working to build a more inclusive economy where our customers have equal access to opportunity, and we strive to live by these same values in building our workplace. **The Team** Bitcoin at Block builds products and platforms that help make bitcoin, stablecoins, and non-custodial wallets accessible to people around the world. We work across Cash App, Square, and Bitkey to create secure, reliable, high-quality mobile and hardware experiences used by millions of people. We’re looking for an iOS engineer who loves building products and can move quickly through unfamiliar problems. You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering partners to turn complex financial capabilities into clear, reliable customer experiences. **The Role** As a Staff iOS Engineer on Bitcoin, you will own the technical direction and delivery of a critical area of our iOS product experience with bitcoin and stablecoin. This is a hands-on role: you’ll prototype new ideas, make architectural decisions, write production code, and lead work through launch and ongoing improvement. The work extends beyond the client. You’ll align product requirements with backend capabilities, resolve dependencies with partner teams, and make tradeoffs across customer experience, delivery speed, security, and reliability. You’ll personally tackle the hardest design and implementation problems while helping other engineers contribute effectively. Your impact will come from shipping valuable products and making the next release better: fewer recurring problems, clearer interfaces, stronger testing, and practices the team can use independently. **You Will** **Build and evolve the iOS product** • Build products in iOS related to bitcoin, stablecoin and non custodial wallets. • Work across interfaces in Cash App, Square and Bitkey. • Own complex features end to end, including client architecture, service integration, testing, rollout, and post-launch improvements. • Work with product and design to shape customer journeys, prototype new interactions, and turn open questions into delivery plans. • Build prototypes, reference implementations, and critical paths that prove a direction before broader adoption. • Contribute bitcoin and stablecoin technology to open source when it creates value for the broader community. • Influence the technical direction within the product area, making explicit tradeoffs and sequencing dependencies with adjacent teams. • Improve architecture and shared components where they make product development faster, safer, or more consistent. • Build automated testing, observability, and safe rollout practices into delivery, with security, privacy, and compliance safeguards appropriate to the risks. **Lead as an AI-fluent engineer** • Integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows to drive leverage across bitcoin engineering. • Evaluate emerging tools and practices, building durable, AI-powered capabilities where they add clear value. • Verify AI-assisted outputs and ensure high standards for software quality, security, and reliability. • Contribute to codebases beyond your iOS specialty. **Make the team more effective** • Operate beyond your immediate team to identify and address cross-cutting technical problems. • Lead architecture and design reviews across team boundaries. • Surface systemic risks before they become customer, seller, or engineering problems. • Mentor engineers through design discussions, code reviews, and structured guidance that helps them take on greater ownership. • Help set technical standards that improve the quality and velocity of iOS development over time. **Collaborate broadly** • Partner with engineers, product managers, designers, and engineering leaders to align technical investments with product needs. • Work with Android, web, and backend engineers to improve shared product foundations and cross-platform experiences. • Represent bitcoin iOS in cross-team and company-wide technical discussions. • Communicate complex technical decisions clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences. **Qualifications** You have: • 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 4+ years building native iOS products. • Deep experience building, shipping, and maintaining native iOS products using Swift and Apple frameworks. • Experience creating foundational systems, shared frameworks and tooling used widely on your team. • A record of leading strategic initiatives with broad adoption and durable impact. • Strong systems thinking, technical communication, mentoring, and organizational influence. Ideally, you also have: • Experience working in large, modular iOS applications, including existing UIKit or Objective-C codebases. • Experience with build systems, continuous integration and delivery, testing infrastructure, observability, or mobile performance. • Experience supporting customer-facing or seller-facing products in financial services, commerce, or another high-trust environment. • Experience with experimentation infrastructure, feature flags, or large-scale product delivery. • Experience working with bitcoin, stablecoin and non custodial technologies. • A record of identifying and leading work that was not already on a team's roadmap. **Technologies we use and teach** • Swift, Objective-C, SwiftUI, and UIKit • Swift Concurrency and Combine • Xcode and Instruments • Bazel and other build and dependency-management systems • Protocol Buffers and shared client-server interfaces • Unit, snapshot, integration, and user interface testing • Performance, observability, and release-safety tooling • AI-assisted development tools We’re working to build a more inclusive economy where our customers have equal access to opportunity, and we strive to live by these same values in building our workplace. Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn’t work together. So we expanded into software and started building integrated, omnichannel solutions – to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later functionality, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. Across it all, we’ve embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. We’re building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same. **The Role** Ordering directly from a restaurant or retail shop should be intuitive and feel dependable. Customers should know where their order is, hear about and easily follow updates, and get help quickly when something goes wrong. We’re hiring a Product Manager to own that experience at Square, across food ordering and retail ecommerce. You’ll build customer experiences and seller tools for pickup, delivery, and shipping, helping businesses earn trust and bring customers back. The problems are concrete: How do you follow an order’s progress? What should happen when a delivery runs late or an item goes missing? How do you make a refund clear, or give a seller an easy way to make things right? You’ll own the experience from the moment an order is placed through its arrival and any help needed afterward. We’re looking for someone with a strong product sense who notices where people get confused, knows when to simplify, and cares about the details that build confidence. You’ll spend time with customers and sellers, work closely with design and engineering, and turn those insights into products that customers trust and repeatedly come back to for their next purchase. **You Will** • Own the strategy and priorities. Set the direction for Square’s post-checkout customer experience across food ordering and retail. Use customer needs and business goals to decide which problems matter most, where to invest, and what can wait. • Bring the work together. At Block, engineers and people across teams also lead individual product improvements. You will connect those efforts across Square and external partners, spot gaps, resolve competing priorities, and make sure the pieces form a clear, consistent customer experience as more people prototype and ship. • Design and define user experiences. Work closely with design and engineering to shape key customer journeys, from tracking an order to getting help when something goes wrong. Bring personal taste and attention to detail to the flows, interactions, and communications that build trust. • Help the team scale through automation. Use AI and other tools to connect and automate repeatable work across customer research, analysis, prototyping, product development, and launch. Build reusable workflows, share what works, and give teams the context and tools to make good decisions independently. • Set the quality bar and guide important decisions. Define what good looks like and evaluate product ideas and AI-generated work against real customer scenarios. Test assumptions, give specific feedback, and keep refining until the experience is useful, clear, and dependable. Decide where AI and automation improve the experience and where human judgment matters. • Prototype and ship improvements yourself. Use AI tools to turn ideas into working prototypes, test them with customers, and learn quickly. Use GitHub and other developer tools to contribute changes through pull requests and work with engineers to ship improvements to production. • Own the outcomes. Follow work through launch and use customer feedback and data to guide improvements. Measure whether customers feel informed, get problems resolved quickly, and choose to order again, using signals like order-status inquiries, resolution time, satisfaction, and repeat purchases. **You Have** • 6+ years of product management experience. • Consumer product judgment. You’ve shipped customer-facing products at scale that make complicated things feel simple. You can explain your decisions and what you learned from customer behavior. • Hands-on building with AI. You use AI to build working prototypes, automate recurring work, and test ideas. You can use GitHub and other tools to make a change and submit a PR. You can show what you’ve built and what you learned. • Taste and craft. You work closely with design and bring personal taste and a high bar for quality. You recognize generic or weak output, give specific feedback, and iterate until the experience feels thoughtful and useful. • Strategy and prioritization. You’ve set product direction and turned it into clear priorities. You make thoughtful tradeoffs and can explain what deserves investment and what can wait. • Customer research and analytical judgment. You use customer conversations, research, and behavioral data to guide decisions. You’re comfortable moving forward when the problem is ambiguous or the data is incomplete. • Leadership across teams. You bring people together around a clear direction, resolve disagreements, and get work shipped. You give others the context to make good decisions and keep moving. • Relevant experience. Experience with consumer products, ecommerce, marketplaces, or customer support is a plus, but not required. You’re curious about how businesses operate and what makes customers trust them. The blocks that form our foundational teams — People, Finance, Counsel, Hardware, Information Security, Platform Infrastructure Engineering, and more — provide support and guidance at the corporate level. They work across business groups and around the globe, spanning time zones and disciplines to develop inclusive People policies, forecast finances, give legal counsel, safeguard systems, nurture new initiatives, and more. Every challenge creates possibilities, and we need different perspectives to see them all. Bring yours to Block. **The Role** Block’s Detection and Response Team (DART) investigates and responds to threats across our products and systems. Within DART, the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) leads complex investigations and coordinates the response to security incidents across the company. You’ll establish what happened, determine the scope and impact, guide containment and recovery, and keep responders and stakeholders aligned. You’ll be a trusted resource for your peers, contributing technical judgment and direction to complex investigations and helping the team make sound decisions. You’ll partner closely with engineers, other security teams, Legal, Privacy, and business leaders. Between incidents, you’ll innovate by building the tools, workflows, and procedures that make our response stronger. **You Will** • Command complex, high-impact security incidents from initial assessment through containment, recovery, and closure. • Investigate threats across endpoint, identity, cloud, SaaS, network, and application systems and drive containment and remediation with system owners, weighing urgency, evidence preservation, and business impact. • Reconstruct timelines, preserve evidence, and determine the scope and impact of incidents. • Coordinate containment and remediation with system owners while balancing urgency and business impact. • Keep incident priorities, decisions, owners, and handoffs clear across teams and time zones. • Lead post-incident reviews and drive findings, uncertainty, and response decisions to technical teams and business partners. • Write code, queries, and automation that accelerate evidence collection, analysis, and response. Partner with triage, detection, threat intelligence, and infrastructure teams to address missing telemetry, improve detections, and remove recurring manual work. • Mentor responders and participate in the incident response on-call rotation. **You Have** • 6+ years of hands-on incident response and digital forensics experience. • Experience commanding major security incidents involving multiple teams and competing priorities. • Strong knowledge of attacker behavior and depth in several areas of identity, endpoint, cloud, network, or application security. • Strong SQL/database understanding and log-analysis skills, and practical programming or scripting ability, such as Python. You can analyze large, messy datasets and build reliable tools that improve investigations and response, both with and without AI. • An established AI-assisted workflow and actively develop AI-based systems and processes that improve incident coordination and case management. • Clear communication and sound judgment when working with technical teams, executives, and sensitive information. • An engineering mindset and a track record of turning incident response lessons into lasting improvements. • A need to build: developing systems and workflows that improve incident response and connect with our broader investigation, automation, and case management capabilities. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. We’re building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same. **The Role** Square is building a best-in-class, high-impact field sales organization, and we are looking for an exceptional Field Sales Account Executive — someone who consistently exceeds expectations, takes full ownership of their territory, and brings Square's mission of economic empowerment directly to the businesses that need it most. You will serve as Square's presence and competitive advantage in one of our highest-opportunity markets — responsible for building pipeline from the ground up, elevating Square's visibility in your community, establishing high-value partnerships, and helping local businesses grow through our ecosystem of industry-leading software and hardware. If you are motivated by impactful work, driven to outperform, and eager to join a high-performance team with high standards, this role is built for you. You Will Lead your market with disciplined, in-person execution • Spend ~80% of your week in the field — walking your territory, engaging local businesses, and driving 50–60 targeted business visits each week. • Run a full-cycle, self-sourced sales motion: generate leads, identify needs, deliver compelling demos, and close deals across Square's full product suite. Establish yourself as the go-to Square expert in your city • Build strong, trust-based relationships with local sellers by being present, reliable, and value-driven. • Partner cross-functionally to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and fast time-to-value for new sellers. • Implement a disciplined referral strategy to turn every new customer into future opportunities. Build a high-velocity pipeline from the ground up • Develop a repeatable top-of-funnel engine through door-to-door outreach, community engagement, events, networking, and targeted partnerships. • Work with channel partners to generate a consistent, high-quality referral stream that grows over time. Master your verticals and sell with precision • Build deep expertise in key verticals — including restaurants, retail, and services — to diagnose challenges and position the right Square solutions. • Sell consultatively and competitively, staying proactive and strategic throughout the sales cycle. Achieve exceptional results in a high-accountability environment • Maintain strong operational rigor in Salesforce: track activity, manage pipeline, and forecast accurately. • Measure performance frequently and improve continuously. • Consistently exceed quota within a culture where high standards are the norm. You Have • 3+ years of sales experience in a full cycle closing role with field sales experience • Experience exceeding sales targets, selling a diverse ecosystem of products, and closing complex deals • Ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Business development experience (e.g. hunting and cold calling) • Since this is a field position, you must have reliable transportation and live in the market you are serving • A collaborative and team player mentality • Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent • Even better: • 2+ years of payment processing OR related technology (i.e. payroll, loyalty, time management) • 1+ years of relevant audience experience (experience working in/selling to restaurants, retailers or services based businesses) We're working to build a more inclusive economy where our customers have equal access to opportunity, and we strive to live by these same values in building our workplace. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us.
