The Material Expeditor will coordinate and expedite the flow of material for the General Services Administration (GSA) Global Supply OCONUS Logistics Operations Solutions Support in the Indo-Pacific Command’s (INDO-PACOM) Japan Area of Operation (AOR). This role involves coordinating with supply chain, various stakeholders, and ensuring efficient and compliant operations to meet GSA’s contract requirements. This position will be responsible for conferring with management, making decisions, and managing work requirements and reports in an environment that requires flexibility, adaptability, and responsiveness. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. Position Responsibilities: • Locates and expedites material, according to orders, schedules, and priorities, and keeps related records, reviews production schedules inventory reports, and work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required material and priorities of customer orders. • Confers with supervisors to determine materials overdue and to informs of location, availability, and condition of materials, locates and moves materials to specified production areas, using cart or hand truck, and records quantity and type of materials distributed and on hand. • Compares order and receipt specifications with materials, prepares order production records, and updates and maintains inventory records, using computer terminal. • Establishes delivery sequences to the sites according to requisition priorities, required delivery dates, and anticipated availability of material; arranging for distribution of material. • Applies knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes to ensure adequate purchasing of to maintain consistent inventory levels.  • Compiles regular and recurring reports to assure real-time status of inventory are available. Summary: This is a full-time position providing operational mission support.  This position is supporting Amentum on a contract based in Japan, primarily aboard MCAS Iwakuni in support of a Base Operations & Support contract. Working Environment: Non-Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) assignment (SOFA dependents maintain their status).  Constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, as deadlines require. Work Schedule: This position works at least eight hours per day, five days per week minimum.  Traditional in-person attendance expectations (non-hybrid).  Position requires the responsibility to be available and responsive to emergent items, via Company provided phone, after hours and support to the on-call staff 24/7 while not on a PTO (Paid Time Off) status.   Major Duties and Responsibilities: • Work with a wide variety of commercial and industrial systems to include those which require that the employee troubleshoots, installs, tests, repairs, and modifies existing plumbing systems, equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure to ensure that specifications and equipment performance requirements are met and comply with the International Plumbing Code or Uniform Plumbing Code.   • Performs preventative maintenance services, repairs, inspections, installations etc. • Backflow Prevention Assembly Installation, Testing and Repairs • Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as that above for which specifications and technical manuals do not exist or have large gaps. • Work as part of a small multi-functional and multi-national trades team and will be required to assist other tradesmen if/as needed to accomplish contract required work; Train less knowledgeable personnel by giving on-the-job instructions and assistance. • Inspections and reports as required in Maximo, for Deliverables or BOSC Management; advise immediate Supervisor of job progress and material/labor requirements. • Use solid decision-making ability and sound judgment to safely and effectively solve problems making technical decisions based on specifications, safety, and governing codes. • Proactively identify any unsafe conditions or hazards and communicate them effectively. • Review applicable sections of ROMs, SOWs, RFPs, AHAs, and similar documents. • Assist other personnel that perform repairs to facilities on emergency, urgent, corrective and preventive maintenance in the applicant’s current expertise area.  Assistance will be occasionally necessary outside of normal working hours, on weekends, or holidays. • Perform related duties which also include general administrative tasks such as navigation from system of record data sources and review of Deliverables associated with the assigned Annex areas and related functions. • All other duties as assigned. Minimum Acceptable Experience and Qualification Levels: • Two (2) years Plumbing experience in operations and maintenance services or a current State Journeyman Plumber license or Journeyman Plumber card (or National equivalent) Expected Skills and Competencies: • Possesses and demonstrates a positive focus on achieving outstanding customer satisfaction • Work well as part of a team and independently, handling issues with tact and diplomacy, exercising sound judgment to make independent decisions and flexibility with evolving requirements. • Read and interpret design drawings, specifications as required. • Perform activities including climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, work outdoors in austere conditions, lift and move items up to the safety regulation maximum. • Minimum two years of documented experience in all phases of the plumbing trade including piping, fixture installation, and service and repair of plumbing systems. • Current International Plumbing Code and/or Uniform Plumbing Code knowledge. Education: • High school diploma or GED required at a minimum. Language Requirements: • Primary communication is in English; must have oral and written English communication skills sufficient to effectively communicate with employees, management, and the client. • Will be expected to perform in an environment where English and Japanese are spoken which may require interpretation or translation using smart-phone type app or bi-lingual assistance. Professional Licenses & Certifications: N/A • Prefer current State Journeyman Plumber license or Journeyman Plumber card (or National equivalent) • Preference to currently being certified as Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester and Repairer (part of necessary job duties).  For candidates currently certified, re-certification costs are covered or reimbursable by the Company.  New certifications occur in the US, possible re-certifications in Japan depending on certifying agency. The USMC MQ-9 CLS Technician is a qualified and skilled aircraft electronics and Ground Control Station technician with experience in troubleshooting multiple electronics systems both aircraft and control stations. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices.  Essential Responsibilities: • Maintain assigned UAS aircraft electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, circuit breakers, switches, and aircraft instruments.  • Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents. The MQ-9 Avionics Technician Lead is a highly qualified and skilled aircraft electronics and Ground Control Station (GCS) technician with experience in troubleshooting multiple electronics systems both aircraft and control stations. They will directly support the USMC MQ-9 Site Manager by leading, performing, and inspecting organizational level maintenance while at the same time being available to support hands-on maintenance and leadership/training on an as needed basis. They will be part of a Deployment Pool and will support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations, as required. This position will require the member to be flexible in the support of assigned deployment/work schedules. Essential Responsibilities: • Exercise independent judgment and lead a team of avionics technicians to complete daily aircraft maintenance tasks based on priorities set by their assigned supervisor. • This position requires an individual that can apply expert technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting technical publications, manufacturers’ manuals/instructions or similar documents through the usage of test equipment/instruments to affect repairs. • Performs all daily launch/recovery duties in support of operational requirements. • Maintain assigned MQ-9 aircraft electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, circuit breakers, switches, and aircraft instruments. • Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents. Examples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering changes. • Work typically requires an understanding of the interrelationships of circuits, exercising independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow, using complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment.  • The CLS technician shall utilize excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet Daily Flight Schedule. • Required to make entries in aircraft logs and records, attend shift change maintenance meetings, perform as a QA, and is responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts. • Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems that affect operational and maintenance capabilities. • Requires an advanced understanding of the interrelationships of circuits and associated systems. • Exercises independent judgment and leadership in performing assigned tasks in conjunction with designated direction from Production Staff and/or Avionic Leads. • Uses common and complex test instruments in the performance of assigned duties. • Provides technical and directional leadership guidance to lower-level avionic technicians. • Provides training to lower-level avionic technicians. • Must be able to sign off work in either NALCOMIS/OOMA or IMDS. • Must have knowledge and understanding of CNAFINST 4790.2 and DAFI 21-101. • Maintains, repairs, and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices. • Applies advanced technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining malfunctions and applies skill in restoring equipment operations. • Must be able to work without direct supervision. • Performs all other duties as assigned as requested. Minimum Qualifications:  • Must have an active Secret US Government clearance with ability to obtain Top-Secret.  Note:  US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.  • Must have High School Diploma or have completed relevant military and/or vocational technical school curriculum. • Minimum of five years of actual Aircraft Avionics and Ground Control Station (GCS) maintenance experience required. • Minimum of two years’ actual experience on MQ-9 aircraft and GCS, as an Avionics Technician. • Must have advanced knowledge of basic and complex electronics maintenance and repair. • Must have advanced knowledge of RFF systems, components, and accessories. • Must possess advanced knowledge of technical publications related to aircraft electronics maintenance. • Must know theory and principles of operation of engines, accessories and components, theory of flight and electronic flight controls, and have a thorough understanding of electrical and electronic principles. • Must be capable of using and reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and data tables. • Must be eligible to gain and maintain one of the following IAT Level II certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, Security+ CE, SSCP, or GSEC, IAW DOD 8570.01-M commensurate with the assigned duties within 90 days of hire or before second deployment. • Must be able to inspect and operate ground support and auxiliary equipment. • Must achieve a passing grade in all required courses/certifications for continued employment, as needed. • Must be able to lift, carry and/or wear Military Issued Equipment in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods. • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. • Must submit updated SF-86 within 30 days of hire start date. • Must have current/active State Issued Driver’s License. • Must be able to travel on CONUS/OCONUS deployments. • Must meet all OCONUS deployment criteria, to include pre-deployment medical screening, as a condition of employment. • For OCONUS deployments, must have valid U.S. Passport with a minimum of two years remaining with at least two facing pairs (four total) of blank Visa pages. Preferred Qualifications:  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI • Associate degree in a relevant career field. • Current IAT Level II Certification. • Deployment Experience. • Prior experience as a Defense Contractor. • Avionics Technician experience within the last 10 years.
