About the Opportunity:The Manager, IT Systems Engineering leads technology operations critical to supporting clinical research sites and remote work environments. This role ensures the secure, reliable, and scalable delivery of enterprise networking, cloud services, and endpoint management. It drives operational excellence and business growth through leadership in service delivery, project management, automation, and team development. 3. Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure including switching, wireless, firewalls, SD-WAN, VPN, and LAN/WAN connectivityMonitor network performance, conduct troubleshooting, and oversee upgrades and new-site deploymentsManage vendors, contracts, licensing, budgets, hardware lifecycle, and performance metricsMaintain and improve IT enterprise solutions such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDriveLead device provisioning and lifecycle management using Microsoft Intune and JAMFDevelop and govern AI-enabled automation solutions to enhance IT operations and scalabilityOversee deployment and adaptation of enterprise AI tools like ChatGPT and CoPilotServe as Technical Lead for infrastructure, network, cloud, clinical-site expansion, and technology refresh projectsDevelop project scope, schedules, budgets, risk plans, communications, and status reportsRecruit, coach, and manage IT staff with clear goals and performance standardsFoster a collaborative and customer-focused team cultureEnsure IT services comply with security policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management practicesCollaborate with Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Legal teams on audits and investigationsPerform other assigned tasks 4. Requirements:Experience supporting distributed environments and managing enterprise networks, Microsoft cloud services, endpoint platforms, and complex IT initiativesStrong skills in communication, vendor management, budgeting, prioritization, problem-solving, and stakeholder managementExperience implementing AI-enabled automation with considerations for security, data governance, reliability, and business valuePreferred experience with Cisco Meraki, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows Server, Active Directory, ITSM platforms, scripting, workflow automation, and AI operations toolsRelevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, Microsoft, Cisco/Meraki, or CompTIA Security+ preferredBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experienceSeven+ years progressive experience in IT infrastructure, networking, operations, or service delivery with at least three years leading technical teamsFive+ years in IT management or technical leadership 5.
