(Japan) we provide a wide range of services to meet customer needs, including sales of domestically manufactured and imported machines for the Japanese pharmaceutical and food markets, as well as packaging materials, validation, and comprehensive services. Our plant is located in Saitama (:50min train ride from Tokyo) with around 100 passionate colleagues. What you can expect: We are looking for an intern to support our local inspection research and development team at Syntegon Technology K.K. (Japan). As Japan is the global inspection hub of Syntegon Technology, the focus lies on our local pharmaceutical inspection machines. You assist in the R&D process for new inspection technologies, from market research, over specification, development, testing, and documentation, up to creating sales material.Topics are chosen depending on your skill level, but may include new vision software tools, new camera setups, new inspections technologies, and artificial intelligence. What you'll bring: Your Profile: Student in technical fields, such as physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, or similar major.Experience in working in a laboratory environmentGood communication and collaboration skillsLanguage proficiency:Proficiency in English Speaking, Reading, and WritingJapanese language skills are not mandatory but considered as a big plusFlexibility and tolerance to adapt to a foreign work environment and daily lifeIndependent, creative, and motivated way of workingBasic knowledge in data processing and/or programming Must be enrolled at a university or postgraduate school for the whole internship period(6–12 months, from Jan 2027), and we need a document (issued by university) explaining the number of credits you will receive for participating in this internship Please send your application including CV, proof of laboratory experience (credit certificate or equivalent), application letter (max. 1 page) and your latest study interim certificate.
