About the role
This internship offers the opportunity to work on experience design from a management perspective—not just engineering—and to grow into a leader who will drive the future of the Mercari Group. You will be challenged with developing features for the flea market app "Mercari," the smartphone payment service "Merpay," and the cryptocurrency/blockchain service "Mercoin" within Japan. You will join a team of software engineers with diverse backgrounds and expertise and take on responsibilities as a team member. Ultimately, you will present your work and actual results at a final report meeting.
Eligibility
Students aged 16 or older who are expected to join the Mercari Group as new graduates in October 2027 or April 2028. Able to work more than 20 hours per week. Visa support and accommodation arrangements provided for those living overseas.
