When, in 1947, Christian Dior founded his couture House in the midst of the postwar chaos, he carried out a revolutionary action by repositioning beauty at the heart of women’s lives, and on a broader level, at the heart of society. There was nothing superficial about this ambition, indeed, on the contrary, it touched the essence of humanity, in aspiring to give women self-confidence and even dignity again, enabling them to take back their image and their culture. Today, by revolutionizing the codes of French style and luxury through perfumes, and combining tradition with daring makeup and innovative skincare, we are reinventing every day the Dior style and its compelling, joyful and absolute beauty.
