Yashima is offering a fantastic Working Holiday Internship for fluent English and Japanese speakers to contribute to our international marketing and sales efforts. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in a Japanese company while experiencing the rich culture and exciting lifestyle of Fukuoka!Responsibilities:Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies aimed at the US, Southeast Asian market.Conduct research on American, Southeast Asian consumer trends and market opportunities.Support import/export sales activities, communicating with potential and existing clients in the United States, Southeast Asia.Assist in creating engaging marketing materials and presentations tailored for an American, Southeast Asian audience.Translate and interpret business communications and documents between English and Japanese.Provide crucial support to our international team in various projects and daily operations.Assist with administrative tasks and logistical arrangements.Participate in other projects and initiatives as needed.Qualifications:Must be eligible for a Working Holiday visa in Japan.Fluent in both English (native level) and Japanese (strong conversational and written skills).A keen interest and ideally some experience in marketing and/or international sales.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skills.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively.A proactive and independent work ethic, with the ability to also collaborate effectively within a team.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Social media platforms popular in the US, Southeast Asia, familiarity with US, Southeast Asia business practices, etc.What We Offer:A unique opportunity to live and work in Japan on a Working Holiday visa.Invaluable hands-on experience in international business and cross-cultural communication.The chance to develop your marketing and sales skills with a focus on the US, Southeast Asian market.Immersion in Japanese culture and language in the dynamic city of Fukuoka.The experience of working within a supportive and diverse international team.
