Data Engineer

NEARSHORE ONLY – Applicants must be based in an approved Nearshore country We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong Databricks and dbt and PDLC (Product Development Life Cycle) experience to join a major international consulting organization on a B2B contract. You’ll be responsible for taking Data Products from concept through to delivery, working closely with Product and Business stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions and build them into production. Key ResponsibilitiesGather and translate business requirements into Data Products.Design, develop and deliver scalable Data Products.Build data pipelines and models using Databricks and dbt.Work closely with Product, Engineering and Business teams.Own Data Products through the full development lifecycle. Key Skills7+ years of Data Engineering experienceHands-on Databricks and dbt experience.Experience working within Product Development teams.Strong SQL and data modelling skills.Experience taking data solutions from requirements → design → development → production.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Contract: 6 months initially, with scope for extensionLocation: Fully Remote – Nearshore onlyDay Rate: €300–€350 per dayEngagement: B2B
