Compared to ordinary project management positions, this role places greater emphasis on strategic value, corporate transformation, major investments, cross-business collaboration, and high-level decision support. Typically, the role is responsible for a portfolio of strategic projects with corporate-level impact. The role usually reports to the CEO, COO, CSO, or President. III. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Project PlanningDevelop the company's strategic project development plan.Translate the company's strategic goals into specific strategic projects.Determine the priorities, objectives, and implementation paths of major projects.Establish a long-term roadmap for strategic projects. 2. Enterprise-Level Portfolio ManagementOverall manage the company's portfolio of major strategic projects.Evaluate the strategic value, return on investment, and feasibility of projects.Balance project resources, budgets, and priorities. 3. Regularly report the overall project portfolio performance to senior management. Key Project Leadership: Directly oversee the company's most important strategic projects. Lead cross-departmental, cross-regional, and global projects. Resolve key issues in key projects. Ensure strategic projects achieve business objectives as planned. Enterprise Transformation Projects: Drive digital transformation, business transformation, and organizational change projects. Responsible for large-scale process optimization and operational upgrade projects. Drive the implementation of new business models. Ensure transformation projects are aligned with corporate strategy. Cross-departmental Coordination: Coordinate with departments such as strategy, finance, operations, technology, product, sales, and human resources. Establish cross-departmental project governance mechanisms. Resolve major resource conflicts and execution obstacles. Facilitate rapid decision-making for enterprise-level projects. Strategic Investment Projects: Oversee major capital investment projects. Participate in project business case studies and investment decisions. Evaluate project costs, risks, and expected returns. Tracking project return on investment. Project Governance: Establish a strategic project governance framework. 8. Project Approval, Phase Review, and Decision-Making Processes: Establish project risk, quality, and performance management systems.
