The Role Due to growth within UK programmes, we will need talented Software Engineers throughout the course of 2026… You will be responsible for contributing to a multi discipline team in the Analysis of problems, solution work up and delivery of Software as required across a wide range of Applications. Key Responsibilities Investigation into potential problems in the various systemsDevelop software requirementsContribute to architecture and design baselinesDevelop software solutions/recommendations and implement theseChange and release managementTechnical risk and opportunity managementliaise with other disciplines (i.e Systems Engineering and Formal Test) as well as management and Team LeadershipCreation of Software test plans and test executionChange and release managementAdherence to all relevant Software Standards required Required Skills Experience of delivering real-time and/or safety-related softwareKnowledge of software development languages (e.g. TAL, C and C++)Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, TACL)Experience of systems engineering, software development, integration and testKnowledge of configuration management within an software engineering environmentExperience of the complete project life cycle from bid through to operational deliveryStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide clear technical directionAbility to work cross-functionally and Collaborate with other StakeholdersExcellent verbal and written communication through the use of e-mail, presentations and reportsAbility to build effective working relationships with the team, internal stakeholders and external stakeholdersStrong time management and organisational skills Clearance Requirements Clearance to Start BPSSClearance for Role SCYou must be willing to undergo SC or DV clearance dependent upon the security requirements for the role Are you ready to make an impact?
