Job Description

Gilead Sciences Japan is seeking a professional capable of working closely with KOLs treating and leading the rheumatoid arthritis (RA) field, including rheumatologists and orthopedic specialists involved in RA care. This individual is a full-time employee in the Inflammation Business Unit and reports to the RA Marketing Department Head.

In this level of individual contributor develop Clinical Questions (CQs)  and conduct science-driven discussion with KOLs. Giving feedback to the marketing franchise to run PDCA cycle which is in line with product strategy and tactical plans.

You will also play a key role in planning/executing D2D event, as a part of omni-channel strategy, and closely work with cross functional team including Product Managers, MA and other related internal teams as well as co-promotion partners. Managing event vendors located in Japan to achieve enterprise goal is also in scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Gives feedback to RA marketing franchise members on scientific insights brought from intensive discussion with rheumatologists and orthopedic specialists involved in RA care, to develop strategy/tactics and run PDCA cycle
• Develop CQ aligned with the RA strategy and execute communication plans with HCPs to get insights, and synthesize and prioritize recommendations for the RA marketing franchise thereby optimizing asset value and promoting proper use
• Plans and executes D2D events e.g., seminar/lecture, Meet the Experts which is interactive and scientific discussions amongst RA specialists and advisory board meeting. As a part of this execution, discusses with chairs/speakers on scientific/educational contents to develop scientifically robust, strategically aligned and compliant educational content
• Suggests and executes tactical plans in line with strategic POA
• Participates in POA tactical planning in a proactive manner by connecting the current state, desired state, gaps, causal factors, priority issues, CQs, strategic actions and measurable outcomes
• Closely work with IBU members and xFunctional members in an effective manner , ensuring field insights are synthesized, prioritized and translated into clear recommendations and follow-up actions
• Closely collaborate with co-promotion partner including marketing, IMSP (Immunology specialists)
• Educates HCPs on the latest business conduct and guidelines
• Makes consistency of those tasks described above with GSJ’s business compliance
• However,
• This individual, as an OLL, asks neither product prescription nor account opening
• Spends the field-based work for more than 50%/week

Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of experiences as MR/MSL/Area Marketing in pharmaceutical/biotech industries
• Has strong ambition to foster Jyseleca® as the best product amongst advanced treatments to help patients living with inflammatory diseases.
• Has strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on time management, follow-through, and issue resolution abilities.
• Has excellent communication skill and ability to influence and motivate people without direct authority.
• Demonstrates strategic thinking skills with ability to anticipate issues and impact on related areas
• Explains well about Jyseleca’s product features from scientific points of view OR　Has strong ambition to try to describe about these scientific values based upon public information on the Internet
• Possess MR/MSL/Marketing experience in Immunology/Inflammation areas
• Has good experiences with interpersonal skills and ability to interact with individuals from a variety of departments.

• 製品戦略遂行および戦術立案および効果検証等にあたり、関節リウマチ診療を担うリウマチ専門医および整形外科医等とと強力な専門的関係を構築・維持し、科学的議論から得られる示唆を事業部及びマーケティング統括部にフィードバックする
• RA戦略に整合するCQを策定し、ステークホルダーごとのコミュニケーションプランに落とし込んだ上で、HCPとのコミュニケーションを実行して、実行可能なインサイトを創出する。さらに、それらを統合・優先順位付けし、RAマーケティング部門に提言することで、戦略・戦術およびPDCAに反映し、アセット価値の最大化と適正使用の推進につなげる
• 製品戦略に基づく講演会や学会共催セミナー、領域HCPがギリアドと双方向にdiscussionする会の主導にあたり、科学的かつ戦略に整合し、コンプライアンスに準拠したスライドやコンテンツ作成をサポートし、役割者との打ち合わせを行う
• 製品戦略(POA　Strategy)に従ったアクションプランを提案し遂行する
• 製品戦術(POA Tactical Plan)の策定において、現状、あるべき姿、ギャップとその要因、優先課題、CQ、戦略アクションおよび測定可能な成果を一貫して提案することで積極的に参画する
• IBU内(IBUマーケティング統括部、営業および営業推進)およびクロスファンクショナルチームと協業する
• コ・プロモーションパートナーのマーケティング・IM専門営業組織などのチームメンバーと緊密に連携する
• ビジネスコンプライアンス、販売促進ガイドラインなど最新の業界関連規制について、担当医師を教育する
• 上記活動がGSJのコンプライアンス基準と確実に一致している
• ただし
• OLL業務として、自身の担当医師に自社製品の処方や口座開設を依頼しない
• フィールドベースの活動が50%を占める

＜必須＞

• 製薬およびバイオテック業界における3年以上のMR/MSL/エリアマーケティング経験を有する
• 免疫炎症疾患と共に生きる患者さんのためにジセレカ錠を多数のAdvanced Treatmentの中で最も選ばれる製品に育てるという強い思いがある
