About The Role We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team focused on developing cutting-edge software for fitness consoles used worldwide. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and enhancing software solutions that improve user experience and functionality across our product lines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software that meets stringent performance and safety standards. As a key contributor, you will help define technical requirements, improve development processes, and mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation in the fitness technology space. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a solid educational foundation and extensive experience in software development. A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fields is required. Candidates should have between 3 to 5 years of experience programming in Native Android environments using Java or Kotlin, coupled with at least 5 years of object-oriented programming experience in languages such as C++, C#, or Java. Additionally, a minimum of 4 years of UI-based application development experience is essential, along with 2 years of experience in built-in and integration unit testing. Proven ability to author and edit technical documentation for at least 3 years and experience in project architecture and sustaining projects are highly desirable. The candidate should also demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to mentor junior engineers, and a willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Lead individual development projects from conception through deployment, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with product specifications. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that enhance product performance and user experience. Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering professional growth within the team.
