About Us Software 3.0 (owner of AI Engineer events and community) is focused on building a global network of flagship and regional events, partner events and year-round community engagement opportunities. Our mission is to empower and unite the global AI engineering community by delivering transformative events, knowledge exchange, and collaborative experiences that accelerate practical AI progress. AI Engineer is the AI industry's only vendor-neutral event focused solely on engineering. We work with all the major players in AI - from OpenAI, Anthropic, NVIDIA, Google, Microsoft, to Neo4J, Sonar, Arize - to name a few. We have experienced remarkable success with our event series, including AI Engineer Summit, AI Engineer Worlds Fair 2024, AI Engineer Summit NYC 2025, and AI Engineer Worlds Fair 2025 . In 2026, we expanded into Europe with AI Engineer Europe (London), and returned to San Francisco for AI Engineer World's Fair 2026. Attendance has grown from 500 engineers at our inaugural Summit to over 7,000 at World's Fair 2026 roughly a 1,300% increase in three years - and we plan to continue expanding the series and growing the community at this pace. By 2030, the AI Engineer World's Fair annual event is projected to attract over 15,000+ attendees, establishing it as a leading global gathering in AI and technology. AI Engineer is uniquely positioned to become as indispensable to the AI ecosystem as SXSW, CES, E3, and GDC are in their fields.To support that growth, we're bringing on a full-time producer to strengthen our production team. Position OverviewThis is a high-ownership production role at one of the fastest-growing event series in tech. You'll report to the Senior Producer and lead the planning and execution of our core event portfolio, World's Fair, Summits, flagship conferences, leadership retreats, and regional events.You'll own significant production workstreams across multi-day, multi-track conferences at convention center scale; expo floor operations, AV and show production, vendor and venue management, sponsor logistics, F&B coordination, and the documentation and systems that hold it all together. This is a role for someone who's done this before at real scale and is ready to take on broader ownership in a lean, high-trust team. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the planning and execution of first-party events including World's Fair, Summits, flagship conferences, leadership retreats, and regional events.Own core production workstreams: vendor coordination, timelines, run-of-shows, show flows, and logistics planning across multi-day, multi-track programming.Manage expo floor operations including booth assignments, sponsor build logistics, floor plan coordination, and move-in/move-out scheduling.Serve as primary liaison with AV vendors managing technical specifications, stage production, rehearsal schedules, and onsite execution across all stages and breakout tracks.Coordinate F&B with venue and catering partners, including BEO review, service timing, and budget management.Own venue liaison and supplier management tracking deliverables, managing contracts, and holding vendors accountable to timelines and quality standards.Partner with content and programming teams on session logistics, speaker green room operations, and stage management.Build and maintain detailed production schedules, run-of-shows, and internal documentation.Coordinate sponsor and exhibitor logistics in partnership with the sponsorship team, ensuring commitments are executed accurately and on time.Develop and maintain contingency plans and onsite escalation protocols.Manage onsite staffing coordination, including event staff, volunteers, and temporary crew.Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, sponsorship, speaker, and operations teams.Track and manage budgets alongside leadership, maintaining cost discipline across all production workstreams.Build repeatable frameworks and systems to support a growing, multi-event portfolio.Lead post-
