Business Operations Director - Field Service

For our client, we are seeking a Business Operations Director - Field Service to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This role will oversee field service operations and help drive the performance, discipline, and execution needed to support reliable service delivery.

The director will partner closely with operational leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen KPI management, improve decision-making, and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals. This position also plays a key role in building accountability, advancing continuous improvement, and supporting compliant, high-quality operations in a regulated environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $125,000 – $140,000 annually Responsibilities Monitor and govern key performance indicators (KPIs) for the field service organization Analyze performance trends to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions Lead development of performance dashboards and operational review materials Drive accountability for performance results through structured business reviews Ensure field operations align with organizational objectives and service standards Manage compliance and quality assurance programs, ensuring regulatory adherence Coach and develop a high-performing operations team to foster continuous improvement Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred 10+ years of leadership experience in field service or operations 5+ years leading managers and cross-functional teams Experience in operational performance improvement initiatives Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and forecasting Advanced analytical skills for operational data interpretation Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma Benefits Comprehensive health insurance coverage 401(k) plan with company matching contributions Generous paid time off, including vacation and holidays Opportunities for professional development and career growth Flexible work arrangements and travel opportunities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
