HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver

As part of the company’s growth and development, a full-time vacancy has arisen for a Multi-drop Class 2 driver at Home and Trade. This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of a successful, local business that provides excellent all-round service. As a driver at Home and Trade, your role will be to deliver building materials to customers at site and to domestic properties, in a safe and professional manner.

There will also be occasions where you will be required to use the 4 tonne Tipper vehicle to deliver loose aggregates. We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and as a driver, you are the face of the business and should always demonstrate professionalism whilst driving and with our customers. Please note this role involves manual handling of heavy goods and also occasional weekend working.

The ideal candidate will have; Full, clean driving licence Full CPC and Digi Taco card essential Valid Hiab certificate for remote grab & hook preferred but not essential (Training can be provided) Excellent customer service skills Key responsibilities; Multi-drop deliveries Loading and unloading of materials safely and undamaged (using the HIAB if required) Ensuring vehicle checks are carried out daily Making sure all health and safety requirements are met Giving excellent customer service Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year Additional pay: Bonus scheme Benefits Company events Company pension Employee discount On-site parking Sick pay Store discount Experience: Driving: 2 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: Driver CPC (preferred)
