This is a Fully Remote Job About Our Client:The organization operates in the marketing and communications technology space, addressing the challenge of aligning strategic planning with day-to-day execution for teams. The platform offers a centralized source of truth and real-time collaboration tools, enabling marketing and communications teams to stay aligned and agile. About the Opportunity:The SOFTWARE ENGINEER role is focused on driving the development of new products and initiatives by collaborating with design, product management, and engineering teams. This position is essential for scoping projects, planning future development, and ensuring high-quality delivery using AI-assisted development tooling.
The engineer contributes to building and maintaining the platform, directly impacting the organization's ability to provide a seamless and effective product experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop client-side interfaces using Javascript/React and TypeScript.Implement server-side functionality using Ruby/Rails, Elixir/Phoenix, or NodeJS.Create, ship, and maintain capabilities across the platform.Utilize AI-assisted development tools judiciously, ensuring quality and correctness.Participate in design meetings, technical architecture decisions, and implementation.Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design teams.Develop APIs, web applications, and microservices powering the platform.Write JSON:API compliant endpoints with test coverage and shared OpenAPI contracts.Use technologies like Docker, Redis, Postgres, and ElasticSearch to build scalable applications.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience with an emphasis on frontend development.Experience with enterprise-grade, cloud-based web applications and relational databases such as Postgres.Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools, understanding their appropriate use and limitations.Strong knowledge of web application architecture patterns and tradeoffs.Familiarity with frontend Javascript libraries and frameworks, especially ReactJS.Ability to build consensus, make decisions, and deliver software effectively.Strong communication skills across diverse teams including designers, engineers, and product managers.Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Alignment with values such as steadfastness, polish, helpfulness, empathy, intentionality, creativity, and passion.Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:Compensation range is $115,000–$165,000.The final offer will be based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
