Business Overview

The Group Sales Division serves as a cross-functional organization dedicated to expanding the membership value and ecosystem of the Rakuten Group, which encompasses over 70 services. We lead initiatives in branding, creative, marketing, and membership. We view the mobile sector as the cornerstone of our ecosystem and, as the Group Sales Division, we are actively strengthening our collaboration with Rakuten Mobile.

Department Overview

The Device Business Department is responsible for the end-to-end process of Rakuten Mobile’s product offerings, from procurement to sales. Within this department, the Device Sales Section is responsible for formulating sales strategies and managing sales for devices and their related accessories. You will have the opportunity to design and execute marketing strategies that maximize the appeal of these products and effectively deliver them to our customers.

Position:

Position Details

The Device Sales Section is responsible for maximizing the sales of products such as smartphones, tablets, Wi-Fi routers, and accessories to drive customer acquisition for Rakuten Mobile. Your responsibilities will include:

• Product sales planning.
• Enhancing partnerships with product manufacturers.
• Managing and executing sales KPIs for various products.
• Operational management of the official Rakuten Mobile store on Rakuten Ichiba.
• Inventory management for all products.

Mandatory

Qualifications:

• Experience in managing mid-sized teams (5–10 members).
• Experience reporting to senior management.
• Experience in driving business initiatives with external stakeholders.
• Experience in roles requiring a strong focus on numerical data (KPIs, sales data, etc.).
• English Proficiency: TOEIC score of 600 or higher (or equivalent qualification).

• Experience in sales planning or business planning.
• Experience working in the telecommunications industry.
