In this role, you will oversee all Engineering operations across the hotel, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building systems, facilities, and equipment. You will lead the Engineering team, drive preventive maintenance programs, and support the hotel's operational and financial objectives. You will be responsible for maintaining hotel assets, managing utilities and energy conservation initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and overseeing maintenance and renovation projects. You will also work closely with hotel leadership, contractors, and government authorities to support operational excellence and a safe environment for guests and colleagues. ■ Key Responsibilities Oversee Engineering operations and provide leadership to the teamEnsure all hotel facilities, equipment, and MEP systems operate efficientlyDevelop and implement preventive maintenance programsDrive energy conservation and utility management initiativesManage annual budgets, CapEx planning, and asset management programsOversee maintenance projects, renovations, and facility improvementsEnsure compliance with safety, Fire Life Safety, and regulatory requirementsLiaise with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and government authoritiesManage inventories, spare parts, and maintenance contractsLead team development, training, and performance managementParticipate in Executive Committee (EXCOM) meetings and hotel-wide initiativesEnsure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards ■ Requirements Fluent Japanese communication skills, both verbal and writtenDiploma in Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 8 years of engineering experience in hospitality, facilities management, or a related industryStrong knowledge of building systems, MEP operations, and preventive maintenanceSolid understanding of safety standards and regulatory complianceProven leadership and team management skillsExperience in budgeting, CapEx planning, and project managementStrong problem-solving and communication abilitiesComputer literacy and familiarity with engineering management systemsAbility to work flexible hours as required by operationsEnglish communication skills (Desirable)Previous luxury hotel experience as a Chief Engineer or similar leadership role (Desirable) Director of Engineering 本ポジションでは、ホテル全体のエンジニアリング業務を統括し、設備・施設・建物システムの安全かつ効率的な運営を担っていただきます。エンジニアリングチームを率い、予防保全活動を推進するとともに、ホテルの運営目標および事業目標の達成をサポートしていただきます。 また、ホテル資産の維持管理、エネルギー・ユーティリティ管理、安全衛生および法令遵守の徹底、設備更新や改修プロジェクトの管理を担当いただきます。ホテル経営陣や外部業者、行政機関と連携しながら、安全で快適な環境づくりを推進していただきます。 ■ 主な業務内容 エンジニアリング部門の統括およびチームマネジメントホテル設備およびMEPシステムの運営・維持管理予防保全プログラムの策定・実施エネルギー管理および省エネルギー施策の推進年間予算、CapEx計画、資産管理の運営設備更新・改修プロジェクトの管理防火・防災を含む安全基準および法令遵守の推進協力会社、サプライヤー、行政機関との連携保守契約、在庫および予備部品の管理チームメンバーの育成、指導、および評価EXCOMへの参加およびホテル全体のプロジェクト支援ホテルの方針・手順・安全基準の遵守徹底 ■ 応募資格 日本語での優れたコミュニケーション能力（口頭・文書）工学、建築設備、機械工学、電気工学または関連分野の学歴ホテル、施設管理または関連業界における8年以上の実務経験建物設備およびMEPシステムに関する知識安全衛生および法令遵守に関する知識高いリーダーシップおよびチームマネジメント能力予算管理、設備投資計画、プロジェクト管理経験優れた問題解決能力およびコミュニケーション能力PCスキルおよび設備管理システムの利用経験オペレーションに応じて柔軟に勤務できる方英語力をお持ちの方 (歓迎)ラグジュアリーホテルでのChief Engineerまたは同等ポジション経験者 (歓迎)
