Lead Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role• Lead a cross-functional engineering and operations team supporting a mission-critical program.• Oversee a 24/7/365 Tier 2/3 Network Operations helpdesk across secure and non-secure environments.• Approve, execute, and maintain network configurations and architectures for large-scale enterprise deployments.• Operate and maintain dedicated test environments to validate network configurations before production rollout.• Direct daily network operations, including scheduling deployments and resolving failed installations.• Monitor and remediate network compliance to ensure adherence to security policies and federal standards. What You'll Need• High School diploma with 12+ years of relevant experience.• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).• Proven experience leading technical teams in architecting and managing enterprise network environments.• Strong understanding of secure networking platforms and core cryptographic services, including specific TACLANE models.• Experience with Cisco Routers (4K and 8K series) and Cisco Switches (various series) via CLI.• Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco ISE, and Cisco SD-WAN implementation and management.• Foundational knowledge of Zero Trust requirements, including Microsegmentation.• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to translate requirements between stakeholders and engineering teams.• Active Secret clearance required.
