More information is available at www.company.ai.RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with customers to understand operational challenges and success criteria Translate open-ended problems into clear technical designs and implementations Build AI agents that integrate with customer systems and perform real tasks Own deployments, including reliability, performance, and continuous improvement Test with real data, measure outcomes, and iterate based on results Collaborate with Product & Engineering to ship high-quality solutions Contribute to tools, documentation, and best practices that scale customer deliveryREQUIREMENTS Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software engineering or technical problem-solving roles Strong fundamentals in software design, system thinking Communication skills in Japanese: Business to fluent-level (fluent to native-level is preferred) as the role will be working quite closely with stakeholders at traditional Japanese enterprise companies. Communications skills in English: Business-level Experience working across systems, integrations, and data flows Clear communication skills and a strong ownership mindset: comfortable working directly with customers and owning ambiguous problems Curiosity and interest in building AI-powered systems that work in practice Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-grade applications. Hands-on experience in Back-End Development, including APIs, databases, and cloud or distributed systems. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in large-scale codebases. Experience integrating AI or data-driven services into enterprise environments is a plus. Ability to work directly with customers, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions. Comfort with rapid prototyping, debugging in complex systems, and iterating in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Eligibility to work in Japan
