The Boeing Global Services, Government Services Division (BGS-G) is seeking an Experienced Supplier Quality representative support BGS-G MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) business in Japan. In this position, you will be developing and leading supplier quality activities with in-country MRO service suppliers.

Also, you are expected to develop Boeing Japan Kabushiki Kaisha (BJKK) BGS-G Supplier Quality processes and procedures, while working closely with our parent company, The Boeing Company, around the globe. This position will report to BGS-G senior manager at BJKK.

Position

Responsibilities:

• Perform supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers' products and services, quality systems, special processes, meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations
• Perform source inspection on product at supply base
• Develops and executes business plans, quality requirements reviews, quality improvement plans all to improve supplier performance.
• Provides education and coaching on the Quality System requirements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers.
• Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 3+ years MRO (Maintenance repair and Overhaul) Inspection experience
• Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, occasional weekends when necessary, and Travel 50-75% of the time.
• Experience with AS9100 and AS9110
• Experience in auditing principles
• Develops training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity.
• Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• Native Japanese speaker and business level proficiency in English.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience with production (PC700) supplier quality requirements
• Experience working with Measuring Equipment
• Experience working with a globally diverse team
• Typical Education & Experience:
• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g.
• Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g.
• Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
• Location:
• The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at Boeing Japan’s Tokyo office. (Including up to 50-75% of travel)
