Quality Assurance (manual)

<p>We are looking for a <strong>Freelance QA Engineer</strong> to take ownership of quality assurance for our slot game development. This is a key role within our development team, helping us ensure stable, compliant, and certification-ready releases across multiple platforms.</p> <p>You will work closely with developers and product management and help shape and establish our QA structure, testing standards, and documentation processes.</p> <p>The primary focus of this role is <strong>manual testing</strong>. Experience with test automation and Playwright is highly desirable.</p> <p>We typically work within European time zones and prefer some overlap with CET/CEST working hours for collaboration.</p> <h2>Tasks</h2> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform manual testing of slot games across desktop and mobile platforms</li> <li>Contribute to the introduction and development of test automation (e.g. Playwright) where beneficial</li> <li>Design, maintain, and expand a structured test catalog and test case documentation</li> <li>Execute regression testing and release validation</li> <li>Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira</li> <li>Verify functionality, usability, and game logic across different devices and environments</li> <li>Support compliance, certification, and regulatory testing requirements for regulated markets</li> <li>Help establish sustainable QA standards and processes</li> <li>Collaborate closely with developers throughout the production and release cycle</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>Professional experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in iGaming</li> <li>Experience testing browser-based applications</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and structured testing approach</li> <li>Ability to create and maintain clear and reliable test documentation</li> <li>Solid English communication skills</li> <li>Ownership mindset and ability to work independently in a remote setup</li> <li>Willingness to learn and understand slot mechanics and underlying game logic</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience testing slot games or other iGaming products</li> <li>Basic understanding of code and ability to read or debug using browser developer tools</li> <li>Experience with test automation</li> <li>Familiarity with Playwright or similar browser automation tools</li> <li>Familiarity with compliance and certification processes in regulated iGaming markets</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical Setup</strong></p> <p>Our games run across multiple platforms.
