Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Platform - Identity)

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Platform - Identity) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will focus on building and improving secure, high-traffic identity experiences that support authentication and account access across the user journey. You will partner closely with product, design, and backend engineering to translate complex initiatives into scalable frontend solutions that balance security, latency, and user experience. The position also calls for strong technical leadership, including mentoring engineers, improving code quality, and helping the team execute on important platform priorities. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $186,065 – $218,900 annually Responsibilities Lead frontend projects for login, signup, account security, and multi-user support Draft and review technical documents to translate complex initiatives into executable plans Drive architecture strategy for authentication surfaces, weighing latency and user experience Proactively address technical debt and quality issues within the team's codebase Facilitate team rituals and mentor junior engineers on best practices and ownership Qualifications 5+ years of frontend engineering experience utilizing React and TypeScript Demonstrated success in leading complex projects from design to implementation Experience writing and driving technical design documents for major initiatives Strong track record of identifying and mitigating technical debt across team codebases Experience mentoring engineers and leading rituals like code reviews and incident response Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Bonus eligibility and equity opportunities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
