What You'll Do

Author, review, and maintain YAML files used for configuration, data pipelines, and system definitionsEnsure YAML structures are accurate, well-organized, and compliant with required schemasIdentify formatting issues, logical inconsistencies, and edge cases in configuration filesCollaborate with engineers and researchers to support reliable system behavior and data qualityApply sharp attention to detail to prevent errors that could impact downstream systemsComplete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule Who You Are 1+ year of professional Software Engineering experienceComfortable working with YAML in real-world production or data-driven environmentsHighly detail-oriented — you catch subtle errors and inconsistencies others missFamiliar with version control workflows (e.g., Git) and structured engineering processesSelf-motivated and able to follow precise technical requirements without hand-holdingClear and concise written communicator

Nice to Have

• Experience with configuration-driven systems, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure toolingExposure to schema validation, linting, or structured data formats such as JSON or XMLPrior experience supporting AI, data, or automation workflowsBackground in DevOps, platform engineering, or backend systems
