Xero Certified Bookkeeper (Canadian Tax)

Experience working remotely with North American clients, knowledge of Canadian accounting/tax standards, or a background in multi-office/franchise environments will put your application at the top of the stack. Client Overview:Our client is a rapidly expanding international tax and accounting franchise with corporate offices across Canada and a growing portfolio of franchisees. They specialize in delivering streamlined bookkeeping and tax services to a high volume of clients, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and long-term client relationships. Schedule:Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Mountain Time (MT), with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Process monthly bookkeeping for multiple clients using Xero, averaging 12 to 15 hours per client annuallyImport and categorize bank statements and CSV files with speed and accuracyLeverage automated conditions within Xero to maximize efficiency and consistencyMaintain high-quality bookkeeping standards across a large volume of straightforward accountsHandle two to three pages of bank statements per client each monthCollaborate with middle management and senior accountants to ensure seamless workflowAdapt to evolving client needs as the company scales its outsourcing modelSupport the transition of bookkeeping tasks away from senior staff to improve team efficiency

Requirements:

• Xero certificationMinimum 3 to 5 years of bookkeeping experienceProven ability to manage high-volume bookkeeping with attention to detail
